The kids play zone is an exciting playground with lots of future development in the pipeline. It is a fun, safe place for kids under the age of 6 to ride their scooters, jump on trampolines, play on the equipment and just go wild. The kids love it and have an absolute blast - it is an amazing play area for the kids to enjoy.

The kids play zone is the perfect place to have your kids birthday party as it boasts three party venues inside the toddler zone, and provides plenty of space for mess and running around, so that you as a parent are able to relax, hassle-free. Moms can sit in the The Digs Kitchen and watch your kids play or grab a take-away and sit in the toddler zone under the shade for the younger kiddies that need a watchful eye.

Our original – and now world-famous – Scratch Patch was started in Simon’s Town in 1970. (It has since been “copied” in other parts of the world!) It is a place where you can have loads of fun “scratching” for your favourite tumble-polished gemstones from thousands of polished stones that quite literally cover the floor.

There are a wide variety of tumble-polished gemstones in the Scratch Patch, mostly popular Southern African stones such as Tiger’s Eye, Rose Quartz, Amethyst, Jasper, Agates and Crystals. If you’re lucky, you might find virtually anything including Lapis Lazuli, Blue Lace Agate and some really exotic stones! It’s an inexpensive visit and popular with all ages – and being surrounded by so many colourful stones is a memorable and uplifting experience. More and more “mainstream” people are starting to believe that gemstones have “powers” – and being surrounded by so many beautiful polished gemstones certainly does have a calming effect on many people – and especially children!

Everyday from 08h00 – 16h00 the second largest indigenous forest in South Africa situated at Karkloof 18 kms inland from Howick comes alive with people of all ages and sizes experiencing a true Tarzan and Jane Adventure, on slides of up to 200m long which take them amongst the birds, monkeys, trees and plants of this magnificent forest. The system has been designed and constructed by a civil engineer.During the tour two or more trained guides ensure the safety of each group while describing interesting facts about the ecology and life in the forest. The experience starts with a briefing session at the Karkloof Canopy Tour base camp. You will also be kitted out with your harness, safety helmet and sliding glove where opportunity would be given to ask your guides questions. Should you wish, the option to go tandem with one of your qualified guides is an option open to all, he then becomes your ABS brakes and all you do is enjoy the ride. After briefing you will be taken up the mountain in a 4×4 with a short 60m walk to the first platform.

Acrobranch is a treetop experience dedicated to offering children and adults alike a unique adventure as they move from tree to tree in lush, green forests. We propose different obstacle courses in each of our parks, some for kids (marked Acrobranch Kids) and some for reasonably fit adults and teenagers. Obstacles consist of awesome tree top high ropes and tricky crossings (with ladders, tunnels, walkways and bridges). We also offer spectacular zip lines to top it off. You will enjoy two hours of fun and adventure with Acrobranch – it is an awesome way to experience something a bit unique!

This is Indoor Kart Racing - South Africa's most accessible, inexpensive, mega-excitement sport. The adrenaline rush of racing a high-tech kart at high speed around a twisty racetrack as you jostle for position against other drivers can only be duplicated in sports such as bungi jumping and skydiving. Yet karting is a neighbourhood sport, easy to do and much less expensive than jumping off a bridge or out of an aircraft. From a safety viewpoint, close supervision of all racing is strictly maintained to ensure that no dangerous driving takes place. Kenilworth Karting has an excellent safety record and a novice may venture onto the track without fear. Many ladies also race at Kenilworth Karting and our ladies lap record is only fractionally slower than the best time.

Dingo’s Farm and Reptile Park is all about educating people about animals! From the cute and furry to the ‘not-so-cute’ and scaly – all animals are loved and respected here! Dingo is passionate about wildlife, bringing nature to people and educating them on how to appreciate, respect and admire animals. One of Dingo’s biggest inspirations is the late Australian crocodile hunter, Steve Irwin, and this comes through in the way he teaches and interacts with the animals.
